Students entering our program will automatically be eligible a Recurring Scholarship and have full access to our foundation resources. This scholarship is worth $250 each year over the course of their remaining years in high school with their acceptance into the program, with a $500 earning minimum. This scholarship will not be available until they graduate from high school (unless a monetary emergency is noticed) and able to present a high school diploma and acceptance in a four year accredited university or college.
For each year a student maintains above the designated cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), in all four quarters or semesters, they will be able to transfer that $250 into $1000 before walking across their graduation stage. By the time they graduate from high school they will be walking into a 4 year college or university.
The DJ|JD Foundation Recurring Scholarship Program will focus on 3 key areas that make our students aware and knowledgeable about the following:
The Value Financial Stability, Independency, and Responsibility
The Value of Goal Setting
The Value of Consistency, Endurance, & Persistency
Our students will be committed to performing community service opportunities, attending our bi-monthly meetings, and must remain engaged or their scholarship value will decline. They will ultimately learn that as a commitment to us, and the commitments they make, are just as important to the commitment they make to themselves.
PROGRAM APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
As we are committing to the students on various levels, we want them to remain engaged and do the same:
